Hi. My package stuck in Guangzhou for for 10 dats in customs... what can I do?get this status every day

I have a package come from the U.S and was sent by USPS. It has said is stuck in customs for 5 days now. Do I need to provide customs with any paperwork to clear it? I have been waiting for it for 3 weeks.
