Samsung’s new range of Television models have truly brought a new innovation to the idea of the TV and now given the viewer a new way of looking at the images on a television which is very different from what it used to be before. Now you can watch 2D in 3D The Samsung UNC8000 series is a new line of televisions which has made 3D television a reality. This line is one of the better variations of the Samsung HDTV. The Samsung UNC8000 series is under an inch thick and hence does not come cheap at a price of around $2565 to $3499.99. This set makes use of the new Samsung Apps for the TV platform and is in fact the first TV set to be incorporating this system. This edge lit LED based LCD TV is definitely not as good as compared to the better local dimming LCD models, when it is in 2D mode but is the best when one compares it with other edge lit versions. However the 3D mode might put off a viewer who is not ready to accept this kind of a drastic development in imaging technology. The UNC8000 comes in three sizes 46, 55 and 65 inch which is yet to be released. The 55 inch model which is the UN55C8000 is the model most widely released. Keeping aside all the good aspects of this model of the UNC8000 series, this model lacks that good picture quality which is justifiable for its high price tag. This television set comes with a silver lining and stands on a stand which is really not pleasing to the eye. The remote control though also has a lot of issues. The black seek looking controller has a undifferentiated look which makes it difficult to identify each button and one has to constantly keep looking down to find out the buttons. If we are talking about the 3D options, then one can actually play around with the perspectives and the other tweaks which however do away the usual 2D options like aspect ratio etc If we are talking about the 3D options, then one can actually play around with the perspectives and the other tweaks which however do away the usual 2D options like aspect ratio etc. For more details please visit to television reviews |
