Automatic translation may be accomplished with the help of specialized PC software, such as Prompt, or it can also be done on-line at the sites specialized in foreign languages. We have already made a great number of processes automated. But still, in relation to automatic translation there are some minuses. Taking into account that there are a lot of unusually fixed expressions in every language, it's impossible to envisage all the future cases of translation. That's the reason why the software applies the most frequently used meaning of this or that word, and it's not all the time the most appropriate variant for translation. In addition, sometimes the software translates the fixed expression word by word, and in result the meaning of the sentence is changed. The most obvious advantage of the automatic translation process is promptness. But nevertheless, significant documents you'd better translate manually or turn to special translation firms.
