"Subliminal messages are the type of messages that are hidden in our conscious perception, required to be perceived by the subconscious self. They work on their own, with absolutely no effort required on your part. The messages are flashed before you in such a way that you are concerned more with the idea of the messages. The entire message is instantly and spontaneously perceived, understood and accepted by your subconscious mind. Advertising agencies very often use the technique of such messages. Subliminal messages will help in increasing your self-confidence and self-esteem thus making your goals achievable. The very idea of these messages is based on the fact that subconscious mind can undertake the entire process of visualizing the message and thus moderate ideas and ways of thinking, without the knowledge of the conscious mind. You become conscious of it when you have already started acting on the effects of these messages. These messages can be used in facilitating human beings by helping them be mentally closer to the prior purpose to be served. These messages help to develop the confidence level, strength of personality and concentration power. Subliminal messages are sent to the subconscious mind. It is that component of brain which controls some key aspects of our body like temperature and memory and also is the primary facilitator to our conscious mind. Subliminal messaging is a simple and immensely powerful technique which can be used to prevent actions like divorce and other negative actions. It is the subconscious mind that stores it and these influence us and play a very significant role in shaping up our habits, personality and skills. By definition, the word subliminal means ""below the threshold of consciousness."" The threshold of consciousness is the dividing line between something that can be processed by the conscious mind and something that enters the subconscious mind without any such processing. The subconscious mind does not have the reasoning skills as the conscious mind does, and thus has no ability to distinguish right from wrong, or judge the information it receives. When a suggestion enters the subconscious mind, it is taken as the truth and stored for future reference. For this reason, the strength of subliminal messages has virtually no boundaries, and can be dangerous when used improperly. Subliminal messages are in images every day. Subliminal images are on video boxes, in magazine ads, even in the phone book as the image to the left supports. Subliminal tapes are sold by the millions to people that want to motivate themselves with custom subliminal messages. There are subliminal messages in songs. There are even computer programs so you can make your own custom subliminal message to yourself as you watch your computer each day. There are many who believe that these types of messages often change their mind and thus affect their nature, habits and behavior. If you are confused in your decision about which of the views to accept, you are suggested to apply your senses and understand that subliminal message are mainly used for mannerisms, self confidence, discipline, behavior, mystery, etc. "
