The catastrophic earthquake at Haiti in 2010 left about 230,000 people dead and over 300,000 people injured. There were over one million people who were left homeless and there was extensive damage all around. People are still in the grieving and the healing process with the world making fund raising and other humanitarian efforts for the above Haiti victims. As soon as the earthquake was over organizations and groups all over the world and country stepped forward to lend a helping hand to the victims of Haiti. Donations poured in from all corners of the world to help the victims come out of the tragedy. Since music is a healing source there were many concerts all over the world to help in fund raising for the victims. There were counseling sessions provided to the victims so that they could cope with the grief and also overcome their stress and their anxiety. The main mission of the above efforts was to help people grieve outwardly and heal internally. The efforts are still on and people are gradually overcoming the trauma and returning to their normal lives. The healing process is on aiding people to overcome their feelings of isolation and promote the faith of coming back to normal life in a positive manner. Support is on for reconstructing Haiti and removing the thoughts of violence and insecurity in the minds of the victims. There is still a constant endeavor to provide comfort and solace to people affected by this catastrophic and shattering event that not only rocked Haiti but the entire world as well!
