LONDON and MILAN, 21 April 2011 - Having made its name as the ultimate platform for beginners, eToro now ups the ante with an entire center dedicated to educating novices in the art of trading forex for free.

With so many forex brokers flooding the cyberspace, everyone is looking for the added value that will attract both new and experienced traders to their service over all the other offers available out there. eToro have long internalized this approach to the forex trader market and have from the get go committed themselves to proposing unique services such as the interactive chats embedded in their platform, the prize bearing trading challenges that they hold on a weekly basis, and most importantly the celebrated eToro OpenBook which enables traders to engage in the world’s first and largest social trading network.

A particular emphasis at eToro has always been placed on education and on the value of trading in an informed way. This has been reflected in eToro’s developement of a custom designed e-course, the eToro Forex Matador e-Course, and in the eToro forex platform's  visual mode with its unique visual representations of trades that make it easier to learn the workings of the forex market. Now, in an effort to promote this agenda further, eToro has launched a new feature on its website, the eToro Forex Education Center.

The new center presents a large variety of educational articles on a wide selection of topics, ranging from the very basics of forex trading to advanced trading strategies, and even insights into other financial markets such as commodities and CFDs. “We are extremely proud to present our traders with this extensive knowledge base and we know that they will take advantage of this opoprtunity,” said eToro CEO, Mr. Jonathan Assia. “Our traders’ success is our success and we’ve always believed that education is the key. It’s true what they say: information is power, especially in the forex market.”
