Star Wars: The Old Republic is a much awaited MMORPG in the online gaming market. It is all set to come out by mid 2011 and promises a great gaming experience. The Star War series movies are another reason players are so eagerly waiting to have a SWTOR account. The Star Wars lore has two established sides in the Star Wars universe: the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Both these factions have different classes with various races in allegiance with them. Both allegiances in SWTOR have two Force using classes and two more classes within. Since SWTOR will differentiate players’ characters based on morality and faction, it will be an interesting decision for players to select a certain character for their SWTOR account. The Galactic Republic and the Republic Warriors – The Jedi Order. If you want to be on the light side of the Force, you will certainly choose to play in the Galactic Republic allegiance. Although there are also smugglers fighting on the side of the Republic, this is because they like the way things are handled in this allegiance as compared to the Empire. The Republic is a democracy, which operates by way of a senate made up of numerous star systems present in the galaxy. There is freedom and individual right practiced by the allegiance. This democracy has been in place for over twenty thousand years in the Republic. There are four class choices available within this faction, including Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Trooper and Smuggler. Within these classes there is further choice of playable races to select for your character. An SWTOR account holder can choose between these classes and races. Playing on the Republic side, you will get to perform tasks on planets that look and feel much brighter and pleasant as compared to those within the other faction. The Jedi order is considered the guardians of the galaxy and has amazing fighting abilities. The actions of the Jedi are governed by a 12 Jedi Master council. So if you fancy being a good guy, you will choose to be on this faction with your SWTOR account. The Sith Empire and the Empire’s Servants – The Sith Lords. If you would prefer to get in touch with your evil side, you will play on the Sith Empire allegiance. The Empire is an evil establishment all the way. It is a dictatorship and believes in authoritarianism. The Sith Empire is ruled by an evil emperor who always gets his way. The class choices available within this faction are Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter, Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitor. All these classes again have different races for a SWTOR accounts holder to select from. If you have chosen this allegiance, your character will be going to dark and coarse looking planets for assigned tasks. The Sith Lords are basically evil and use their anger, dark side of the force and their lethal weapons to their advantage. So if being evil suits you better, this allegiance is for you.
