Some time ago, it was considered that Blackberry is primarily business users’ smartphone by choice. As Blackberry offers some predominant features for e-mails and text communication, and as constant communication is getting imperative in the real life of corporate users Blackberry has become popular among them. Now we see, Blackberry is courting new market where enthusiast users are moving around. Market experts say, facing competitions from other smartphones Blackberry is trying to find new market. Blackberry came up with later generations’ flagship device like the BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl etc. These additions have practically doubled RIM's BlackBerry sales. Now RIM has been releasing video footage for upcoming Blackberry 6.0 OS to make it the right answer to Android and iPhone. As a matter of fact, RIM is trying to make Blackberry more competitive, more appealing along with certain entertainment features. But market analysts say, there is still a long way to go for RIM for the new market. According to them, the new targeted market is dominated by Nokia. Yet RIM’s rise is worth noting as a potential threat. But at the end of all stories, as it is the RIM’s release, we hope people would dispose of their old handhelds and start picking up smartphones that may be particularly BlackBerry.
