Brochure Printing Details You Should Never Cheat On

There are many ways to cheat on brochure printing to get lower printing quotations. You can design the brochures yourself to reduce production costs, print in wholesale to get a discount and you can even be creative with the brochure dimensions and folding to get the cheapest printing price. I must warn you however that there are some things you should never cheat on in brochure printing. These things must be done with great care to prevent yourself from printing bad quality color brochures. Let me tell you about the three that are most important. Brochure material quality. It is always recommended that you do not cheat on the brochure materials. While some might go for lower quality materials to lower printing quotations, this will come at a cost to the life of your color brochures. Lower quality paper materials means that the paper itself should be more susceptible to physical damage. This means that you will run the risk of your color brochures not lasting long enough to look their best when they do reach your readers. This can be pretty bad especially if you mean to use your color brochures as promotional materials. That is why it is always important to not cheat on paper quality. You should spend as much as you can on the paper quality to get the best results. No cheating should be done on this aspect of brochure printing. Brochure images. You should also focus on making good quality brochure images most of the time. Never cheat on this and use stock photos or (heaven forbid) black and white images. Color brochure images are one of the big attractive points for brochures and they must be always at their best. Cheating on this in any way only makes your brochures look worse which can be bad for its audience impact. So always try to take your own pictures with a high resolution camera if you can, or you can hire a photographer or artist to take some excellent shots or draw some fantastic images for you. This is the only way to get those images to really work in a great way. When you cheat and use shortcuts for these pictures the results are usually not ideal or at least unoriginal, so if you can do not try to cheat on this area. Brochure content. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you should never cheat on your brochure content. Never just copy and paste your text from some other source and always put in everything you want to say in complete detail. Never leave anything out and make sure everything inside your content is accurate. You must never let your color brochure into a position where it is wrong or lying. If ever a reader finds out that your color brochures are wrong, incomplete or totally lying, your credibility and the credibility of your future brochure printings will be suspect. So never give in to laziness in terms of content. Make it as complete and as accurate as possible. So remember to never cheat on these aspects of brochure printing.
